- Abstract
- The article shows the educational potential neoliberalismo approach to the study of occupational groups, for example, specialists in social work. Based on the materials of the interregional survey, the features of the economic, power and cultural components of the status of the profession in their relationship are revealed. The study showed that the model of social work is characterized by a low economic resource and insufficient prestige, significant independence of employees with a limited sphere of influence, and the predominance of departmental regulatory mechanisms and informal mechanisms. Referring to the legal and regulatory context of professionalization allows us to conclude that practical competencies prevail over analytical and managerial ones in the majority of specialists, but a significant proportion of them have experience in structural social work.
