- Abstract
- A summary of the methodological strategy of tolerance research in history textbooks using content analysis is presented. Five units of analysis are identified: political diversification, personalization of history, thematic areas, group identity, and promotion of tolerance. The approach allows us to draw a conclusion about the priority of the idea of tolerance and cultural diversity, as well as to critically consider stereotypes and ways to overcome them.
