- Abstract
- The paper aims to sum up debates regarding the ethnicity of the Cis-Urals medieval archaeological cultures such as Lomovatovo, Rodanovo, Nevolino, Polom, Cheptsa, Vanvizdino and Vym. The author argues against the hypothesis made by E.P. Kazakov, A.M. Belavin, N.B. Krylasova and V.A. Ivanov who believe the cultures to be Ugric, and gives reasons for them to belong to the Komi-Permians and Komi-Zyryans.
