Abstract

The article is devoted to the activity of the so called "sanitation" (sanacja) authorities in Poland aimed at organizing and conducting the parliamentary elections of 1935. On the basis of archival and other materials, the article presents how the authorities were monitoring the election expectations in the society, selecting and promoting favorable candidates to the parliament, coping with the election laws violations.
