Abstract

The article follows the process of stylistic changes in the Polish fortepiano music of the first half of the twentieth century, analyses the principles of applying the dodecaphony technique in the work of Polish composers, insofar as the use of this technique would become an impulse for the avant-garde techniques of composition in the second half of the century.
