- Abstract
- The article considers one of the forms of raising the number of scholars and pedagogues in Belorussia in the 1920s, namely the employment of scholars from the Russian Federation in this republic. The problem is considered through a reconstruction of the biography of the prominent scholar Nikolai N. Durnovo. New documentary materials recently discovered let not only make his biography more complete, but also reconstruct a more diversified picture of the academic life of that period.
