- Abstract
- The article, which among others gives some insight into analytical work the Russian military intelligence in the early twentieth century, pays special attention to the evaluations given by the Russian military experts to the eminent Romanian military commander and the future marshal of Romania and her Prime-Мinister Alexandru Averescu (1859–1938), whose participation in World War One is marked by victories over the German troops and their allies at Mărăşti and Oituz in 1917.
