- Abstract
- In the article, the Slavonic pages of P. I. Keppens travel diary (1822) are analyzed from the perspective of descriptive patterns and the "poetics" of the authors behavior. It shows how Keppens enlightening and sentimental liberalism - following his interactions with the members "Slavonic revival" - was tempered by the principles of romantic ethnography".
