- Abstract
- The article considers the Soviet and Nazi politics in the Balkans in the given period as well as the relations between Moscow and Berlin in the region. It traces main stages in the evolution of these relations up to the establishment of the dominance of the Axis in the region and defeat of Stalin's Balkan policy. Different historiographic versions of those events are compared against the background of a wide range of sources.
