- Abstract
- The publication highlights the second field trip of the research fellows of the Institute of Slavic Studies to the Old Believers in Poland in May 2017. Due to the contacts established the year before, geography of the research was significantly broadened and embraced all the three districts where the Old Believers live: Augustów, Suwałki-Sejnen and Mazuria (former Eastern Prussia). The aim of the trip was to gather endodialectic texts of the further analysis of the ethnolinguistic data and revealing specific of changes of local vernacular. Special attention was paid to studying and understanding the Russian, Church-Slavic and Polish languages by different generations, meta-linguistic reflections on their own subdialect and Russian-Polish words and so on.
