- Abstract
- Using archival documents, the author considers the first stage of Slovak-Russian relations in the field of Orthodoxy in the 1990s, when the main event was the visit of Patriarch Alexy II to Slovakia. The study covers the time from March 1995 to February 1996. It analyses the pretext for the invitation of the head of the Russian Orthodox Church and the preparations for this event.
