- Abstract
- The author, using less known units of the Russian State Military-Historical Archive, demonstrates the nuances of how an inter-ethnic conflict in the Serbian Volunteer Corp, formed in 1916, did emerge. It is underlined, that relations between the Serbs, Croats and Slovenians within the Volunteer Corp were like a microcosm, and could serve as an illustration of the future sad destiny of the Yugoslav state and its army, doomed to fall apart long before their official creation.
