- The article discusses the technology and prospects of cloning humans in the context of biotechnologies and ethics. The author examines the ethical aspects of the issue as well as the social perception of the issue expressed through cultural texts (whether a clone is a human being or not; what role it plays in the society, etc.). She surveys the principal arguments for and against human cloning.
