Abstract
The author analyzes the reasons for the decline of the thesis of secularization of society and suggests replacing secularization with more reasonable scenarios for the future of religion. The empirical data presented in the article give the basis for x. Joash identifies three processes that indicate the prospects for further growth of Christianity. The author emphasizes that the globalization of Christianity will soon weaken its identification with Europe or the West. In his opinion, the globalization of Christianity and religious pluralism in Europe, which has increased with migration, has increased the importance of interreligious dialogue and cooperation between Christian churches and non-Christian religious communities.
