- Abstract
- The article examines the legacy of the outstanding Russian sociologist, historian, and jurist Veniamin Mikhailovich Khvostov. Based on the analysis of new archival materials, his contribution to the formation of sociological education at the 1st Moscow state University in 1917-1920 is shown.
