- The article analyzes the main changes that occurred in Russian sociology in the late XX-early XXI centuries, in its theory, methodology, and methods. Special attention is paid to the new areas of knowledge that sociologists have begun to explore when understanding the complicated social reality, to the emergence of new terminology, which carries quite contradictory trends.
