- Abstract
- Modernization processes in the Urals federal district are analyzed using comparisons with median rates in Russia. Impact of institutional traps is stated. Principal contradiction is allegedly generated by the fact that successfully (with regard to social economic and socio-cultural aspects) developing regions belie the progress in the realm of modernization changes. Axes of deceleration are demonstrated; factors and stages of integrated modernization are found out.
