- The article is devoted to Catherine II’s «Comparative Vocabularies of all languages and dialects» (1787-1789). It was Empress’s idea to publish this work, she worked on compiling the list of words, which became «Dictionaries» first version. It’s described in the context of the philological works of the Empress.
