Abstract
The object of our exploration are Russian folk lyrical songs. Attempts are made to analyze and determine that the Russian people in ancient times were considered beautiful. The article is illustrated by numerous examples from the texts of lyrical songs. The context draws our attention to the gender aspect of the research problem.
