Abstract

The article shows the reasons for the inclusion of the special academic discipline “Prosecutor’s supervision in the USSR” in the curricula of law schools and law faculties of universities of the USSR, the subject is defined and its boundaries are outlined, the problems of the correlation of this course with the theory of state and law, State and Administrative Law, criminal and civil proceedings are considered, recommendations are given for the preparation of an appropriate textbook.
