Аннотация

Финансово-экономические потрясения XXI века привели к тому, что в Соединённых Штатах внутренняя политика постепенно стала доминировать над внешней. Не будет в этом плане преувеличением сказать, что внешняя политика в ряде своих ключевых аспектов стала логическим и неотъемлемым продолжением внутриполитического курса различных американских администраций, в том числе и администрации Дж. Байдена. В условиях нарастающего социально-экономического кризиса, который принял форму «рецессии Байдена», демократическая администрация, оказавшаяся неспособной справиться с нарастающим валом внутренних проблем, прочно взяла курс на использование украинского кризиса для отвлечения внимания широких слоёв американского общества от всё более обостряющихся внутриполитических проблем, рассчитывая при этом если не сохранить контроль над Конгрессом США, то по крайней мере минимизировать свои потери на предстоящих в ноябре 2022 г. промежуточных выборах. Вместе с тем использование «украинской карты» потенциально даёт возможность администрации Дж. Байдена в конце текущего года задействовать инструментовы прямого контроля над политической системой США, имеющихсяеся в распоряжении главы исполнительной ветви власти и верховного главнокомандующего США.
