- Abstract
- The article is devoted to political propaganda in the Duchy of Warsaw during the Patriotic war of 1812. For the Polish troupes, their participation in Napoleon’s campaign against Russia was connected with the desire of the Poles to reunite with the lands of the Rzecz Pospolita, which, after the partitions, had been given to the Russian Empire. Till 1813, there were materials in the central press of the Duchy of Warsaw published, which were aimed at a very negative image of Russia. Analysis of this image is presented in the article.
