- Abstract
- The article is a pioneering analysis of the works by Simeon Polockij, Sylvester Medvedev and others involved in the literary design of the cult of St. Sergius of Radonezh. The article proves the authorship of several works. Appearance of these works was relevant in the context of the Russian-Turkish wars and related to the veneration of the Russian saints under Alexey Mikhailovich and his heirs.
