- Abstract
- The article deals with representations of eyes and vision in the language and traditional culture of Slavs. The author explores it with the use of logical analysis. Visual perception model is represented in the language by two basic verbs «to look» and «to see». Consequently, the author examines each logical situation, their actors (predicate, subject, object, circumstances and so on), and their interrelatedness. The author analyses the pragmatism of the act of seeing, and interdictions associated with vision and its magic.
