- Abstract
- The article considers Slavonic dialectal phytonyms for the plants of aconite genus. Close attention is paid to such features of the plants, as their colour, shape of fl owers, leaves and roots, place of growing, taste, poisonousness, which underlay the phytonyms, popular beliefs, refl ected in etiological legends, and infl uenced the use of aconites in folk medicine and folk magic.
