- Abstract
- The article poses the question of effi ciency in the work of Cominform (Communist Information Bureau) as an instrument of the USSR foreign policy and highlights the reasons of its dissolution in April 1956. The author comes to the conclustion that the decisive role is to be attributed to the Yugolsavian factor, which made the necessity of reforming the outdated and ineffi cient mechanism of Soviet infl uence on the world Communist muvement evident.
