- Laszlo Rajk's Trial in Budapest (September 1949) deepened the confl ict between the USSR and Yugoslavia, initiated by Stalin in 1948. The article, based on a broad range of sources, examines the event in the context of the relations between Yugoslavia and one of the Soviet satellites, Hungary.
