- Abstract
- The article deals with the travel notes of the prominent Russian Slavist Pavel Apollonovich Rovinski, who worked in the Principality of Serbia as a journalist in 1868–1869. His articles, published in renowned Russian newspapers and journals are full of precious historical and ethnographic information about the Serbian people life in the second half of the nineteenth century. These data are of great interest for experts in Serbian history.
