- Abstract
- The Russian people, making up the largest population in the present-day Slavic world, has come a long historical way. Its characteristic feature has been the development of the East European Plain in the course of continuous migrations that led to the formation of separate groups of Russians. The article discusses groups of Russians in the Voronezh region, drawing attention to their cultural specificities, way of life, and formation history.
