Abstract
Educational knowledge is considered as a type of knowledge that occupies a place between scientific and everyday knowledge and serves as a link between them. The relationship between education as a form and knowledge as its content is revealed. Special attention is paid to the specifics of educational knowledge of sociology, difficulties in the process of its creation and development.
