- Abstract
- The article deals with the linguistic means of creating the Arctic landscape in the prose by Ivan Menshikov. The center of attention are the images of the sun, of the North star, of aurora borealis. Attention is also paid to colorisms, personification of natural objects, the use of Nenets loanwords in the figurative sense.
